CheapTrips Terms And Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING OR OBTAINING ANY MATERIALS, INFORMATION, PRODUCTS OR SERVICES THROUGH THIS SITE. CheapTrips ("we" or "us") offers access to and use of our site to you subject to your acceptance of these terms and conditions ("Terms"). By accessing, using or obtaining any content, data, materials, information, products or services through our site, call center or printed materials, you agree to observe these Terms.

1. Membership Benefits

CheapTrips membership includes all member benefits as listed on our website. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, access to our "Members Only" site.

CheapTrips member benefits are subject to change without notice. CheapTrips does not guarantee, and will not be liable for, cost of air travel, as prices are provided by our travel affiliates. Membership and use of service denotes your acceptance of these terms. No other warranties are provided except as provided herein. You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older to become a member.

Your CheapTrips membership fee is automatically renewed via credit card approximately sixty (60) days prior to the expiration of the membership term. Members who do not wish to renew their membership must call CheapTrips at 1-800-211-5119 during regular business hours at least sixty (60) days prior to renewal to request that their renewal not be processed. This rule does not apply to lifetime members.

2. Monthly Maintenance Fee

Certain Memberships require a Monthly Maintenance Fee. Effective 30 days after these specific membership programs are activated, a monthly maintenance fee will be charged to the member. The monthly maintenance fee for these specific membership programs will be explicitly indicated at the time of information capture and joining and will be charged to the credit card/debit card used at the time of joining. The membership in these specific programs will remain active as long as the monthly fee is successfully charged to the card or the member notifies CheapTrips that you are canceling the membership.

A member will continue to receive the benefits of a CheapTrips membership and use of premiums provided to the member joining these specific membership programs as long as the maintenance fee is paid.

You can cancel your membership at anytime and discontinue your monthly fee by notifying CheapTrips in writing and returning your membership materials. You must notify CheapTrips in writing at:

Your Monthly Maintenance Fee will be discontinued in the billing cycle following receipt of your notice and membership materials.

3. Airfare Discounts

As a member of CheapTrips, it is possible for you to save up to 85% off published airfares for international travel. Our sources of International Courier flights offer the greatest discounts. Courier companies that offer courier travel airfares may require restrictions related to flight availability, departure and return dates, as well as the number of bags that you may carry. When traveling via a courier airfare, you may be required to provide documentation for the courier company. You are solely responsible for complying with the rules and regulations of the courier airline. CheapTrips will not be liable for your non-compliance. Restrictions and regulations vary by airline.

4. Lowest Price Airline Ticket Guarantee

Eligibility

The lowest price ticket guarantee only applies to purchases made by a CheapTrips member through our primary CheapTrips Certified Travel Vendor.

Rules

If within twenty-four (24) hours of purchase of an airline ticket(s) from our primary CheapTrips Certified Travel Vendor, you notify same that you found the identical itinerary at a lower price through a third party vendor, our travel vendor will either (i) match the price or (ii) cancel the reservation and give you a full refund of your ticket(s). The lowest price guarantee applies to the base fare of the ticket only, excluding taxes and fees. It is within CheapTrips sole discretion whether to match the price offered by the third party or refund the ticket(s).

Restrictions

This offer only applies to purchases of non-courier or non-standby flights. . Proof of purchase (for refund) or proof of reservation (for matching price) will be required to claim a refund or matching price. Proof of purchase is a copy of the actual ticket purchased, and proof of reservation is a copy of the reservation with a reservation confirmation number. This offer does not apply to departures made within seventy-two (72) hours of the reservation being made. This offer is subject to change without notice.

5. Lowest Price Hotel Guarantee (Best Rate Guarantee)

• The Best Rate Guarantee applies only to Save Rate Hotel reservations made by the member via the web-based search engine of our primary CheapTrips Certified Travel Provider on this site.
• Save Rate Hotels are denoted with a special or icon next to the property listing.
• The Best Rate Guarantee applies only if you find a lower rate for the same room type (that must be available for booking), at the same hotel, for the same dates, on another website selling hotel reservations.
• The Best Rate Guarantee is calculated based on the comparison of the rate of the original hotel booking with the competing rate in the same currency.
• The Best Rate Guarantee is for the Save Rate Hotel base room rate only and does not include any taxes, tariffs or fees.
• The Best Rate Guarantee does not apply to discounted rates for senior citizens (including AARP rates), travel industry rates (e.g. IATA), corporate negotiated rates, Government/Military rates or AAA rates.
• Rates found on "opaque" or auction sites, including sites where the hotel brand and the specific hotel are not known until the booking is made, are not included or eligible for this guarantee. Also, printable coupons found on websites are also not a valid source of comparison. This includes but is not limited to Priceline.com, Hotwire.com, etc.
• To receive your refund, fill out the Request Form available on the "Hotel" section of the CheapTrips Preferred Travel Provider Search Engine on this site completely and submit it to to the travel provider within 24 hours of making your Save Rate Hotel Reservation and at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival at any hotel.
• The Best Rate Guarantee Request Form must be submitted by the person who made the reservation within 24 hours of making the booking.
• If the lower rate on another travel website can be verified to our CheapTrips Preferred Travel Provider's satisfaction, they will match the rate shown PLUS pay you 10% of the difference in price.
• Payment of the difference in rates, cancellations and refunds are made subject to these terms and conditions and will be credited to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation, within three (3) business days.

6. CheapTrips Members-Only Free Airline Ticket Giveaway Promotion - Complete Rules & Regulations

Eligibility

This offer is open to all CheapTrips members.

Rules

CheapTrips offers SIX (6) FREE FLIGHTS to multiple destinations seven (7) days a week. Randomly the words, "Free Ticket Now!" will appear in the form of a hyperlink on the CheapTrips Members-Only website. When you see the words "Free Ticket Now!" click on the hyperlink, complete the corresponding form with your full name, correct international ID number, telephone number and email address and submit it to CheapTrips to qualify for this offer. CheapTrips will determine the member whose submission is closest to the random posting time of the "Free Ticket Now!" message on the website. This member will receive a complimentary roundtrip airline ticket and will be notified of same via e-mail. This ticket will be for the destination and travel dates specified by CheapTrips in the e-mail notification to you. All airline tickets will originate in the U.S. or Canada.

Restrictions

You may not receive more than one (1) complimentary ticket award per every 6 months and may not submit for an additional complimentary ticket until six (6) months after the date of departure of the complimentary flight awarded hereunder. In the event an ineligible member makes a submission closest in time as described above, we reserve the right to award the flight to the next eligible member entry. CheapTrips, its directors, officers, managers, employees, and agents, are not responsible for any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions on the CheapTrips website or collateral material related to this promotion and does not assume liability or responsibility if for any reason the website is unavailable or working incorrectly during the offer period. Due to Internet email blocking services, mechanisms and filters, CheapTrips cannot be responsible for any deleted or undelivered Free Flight Qualification Notification email(s) that does not reach the intended recipient.

Members who are recipients of a free airline ticket will be notified by e-mail which will include complete instructions on how to redeem the complimentary airline ticket. The recipient must reserve their flight on the date and time as instructed by the email or will otherwise forfeit the free ticket award. Member agrees to the publication of his or her name on the CheapTrips website and in the listing of Free Airline Ticket Give Away Recipients without compensation. This offer is void where prohibited by law. The Free Airline Ticket Give Away offer may be discontinued by CheapTrips at any time. CheapTrips is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries. All federal, state and local taxes, insurance, licensing, registration and title fees for the Free Airline Ticket are the sole responsibility of the participants.

7. Airline Ticket Savings Certificate

• Certificate may only be used by an active primary member to purchase travel by that member.
• All certificates are non-transferable. Travel purchased for anyone other then the member to whom the certificate was issued does not qualify toward the minimum purchase requirement.
• Companion members may not redeem certificates.
• For use of these certificates, all travel must be booked through the CheapTrips online booking engine only. Telephone purchases are excluded. Certificates are not valid for space available flights, last minute specials, courier flights, vacation packages or any other promotional items.
• Members can only redeem certificates after the first 45 days of membership.
• Travel must be completed within one year of the membership enrollment date.
• Certificate may only be redeemed on single trip purchases of $250 or more for the $25 certificate.
• $100 Certificate redeemable only on single trip purchases of $500 or more.
• Only one certificate may be redeemed per trip.
• Travel must be completed prior to redemption of any certificate.
• An original copy of the confirmed reservation, itinerary, passenger ticket or e-ticket receipt showing the value of tickets, boarding passes and a stamped self-addressed envelope must be submitted to redeem certificate. Any request for redemption that does not include all required documents and a self-addressed stamped envelope will be denied.
• Original documentation submitted will not be returned. Please make copies for your files before submission. Certificate will be replaced by current certificate offering.
• Any certificate not completely filled out will be denied redemption.
• Redemption of this certificate constitutes satisfaction with CheapTrips membership thereby waiving the right of the member to receive a refund of membership fees at any time.
• All redemption requests must include the following items: 1) original Certificate completely and accurately filled out by redeeming member, 2) confirmed reservation, itinerary, or ticket showing the price of covered travel, 3) Boarding pass (if required on the certificate you received), and 4) Stamped self-addressed envelope. 8. Four Free Airline Tickets Certificate

This program is administered by Spirit Incentives for CheapTrips members.

This program provides you with 4 roundtrip airfares with the purchase of hotel or cruise accommodations. Select from Domestic or International locations, All-Inclusive Resorts or a 3, 4, 5 or 7 Day Cruise. Please see certificate in membership kit for complete listing of vacation options.

Complete the Registration Coupon to validate and mail the original to Spirit Incentives, 2455 E. Sunrise Blvd., Suite Mezzanine, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33304, with a $50.00 good faith refundable deposit in U.S. dollars in the form of a check, Money Order or Cashiers Check. Deposit will be returned 30 days after travel is completed by contacting Spirit Incentives via telephone or mail (California residents will receive their deposit prior to travel). 9. 3 Day, 2 Night Accommodations Certificate

Lauderdale, FL 33304, within 60 days of issue date from your participating sponsor (this will be determined by the postmark date on your envelope) with a $50.00 good faith refundable deposit in U.S. dollars in the form of a check, Money Order or Cashiers Check. Deposit will be returned 30 days after travel is completed by contacting Spirit Incentives via telephone or mail (California residents will receive their deposit prior to travel). 10. Companion Airfare Certificate

This program is administered by Spirit Incentives for CheapTrips members.

Terms of Participation: The recipient of this award is entitled to receive a complimentary roundtrip coach or first class companion airfare with the purchase of a like full fare coach class or full fare first class roundtrip ticket from Spirit Incentives using a valid major credit card in the name of the traveler registered. This travel award expires 1 year from date of issue and travel must be completed before expiration date.

Complimentary companion coach and first class tickets are available for travel within the Continental U.S. and Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and Hawaii. Some restrictions may apply; specifically travel is only available from major Continental U.S. and Canada gateway cities, and travel between California and Hawaii only available from Los Angeles, San Jose and San Francisco.

The full fare purchased coach or first class airfare ticket must meet the minimum base fare published on this certificate. Any fares available below the minimum base fares published on this certificate are ineligible for participation and cannot be used to satisfy the full fare purchased airfare ticket. The minimum base fare published on this certificate is defined as the cost of travel excluding any applicable taxes and fees, including the U.S. transportation tax, airport facility charges, International facility fees, security fees, or fuel surcharges. Full payment of applicable taxes and fees apply to both the purchased full fare and complimentary companion ticket and must be paid to Spirit Incentives at time of booking.

Reservation requirements apply to both tickets and include; itineraries must be identical, minimum 14 days advance purchase, roundtrip tickets only, Saturday night stay required outside of the Continental U.S. and Canada and a maximum stay of 30 days. Open tickets, open returns, open jaws, prepaid tickets, circle trips or stopovers are not permitted. Spirit Incentives will determine the scheduled jet or commuter service airline and routing from the airport closest to your gateway city and cannot honor requests for specific airports, airlines or routings. Code share flights do not apply. Reservation availability and booking periods are generally within 6 months of travel and are based on airline schedules. Once confirmed and ticketed the entire program is non-refundable, non-endorsable, and non-transferable for any reason, medical or otherwise. Name changes are not permitted.

General Information, Restrictions and Responsibilities: Blackout dates are December 15th through January 6th. Availability may be limited during certain peak times to certain destinations.

One of the travelers must be the person whose name appears on the registration form and one of the travelers must be at least 21 years of age at the time of booking. Both travelers must have proper identification available at airport check-in. Spirit Incentives is not responsible for, nor will it replace or refund, either the purchased ticket or the complimentary companion fare ticket due to denial of boarding for any reason.

This travel award may not be combined with or applied to other certificates, promotions or special offers, including, but not limited to; upgrades, government fares, tour/travel packages, group, convention/company meeting fare, bereavement, senior citizen discounts, corporate agreements, student fares, child fares, travel industry discounts, internet fares, frequent flyer programs or any unpublished programs. This travel award cannot be used concurrently with any other Spirit Incentives certificate is non-transferable and non-refundable, void if altered and will not be replaced if expired, lost, stolen or destroyed. This travel award may only be distributed free of charge by those authorized by Spirit Incentives or authorized agents of Spirit Incentives as a promotional device. No refunds shall be provided for any unused portion of this offer. It may not be sold or resold to a consumer.

You may cancel this contract without penalty or obligation within 30 days from the date of purchase or receipt of the vacation certificate, whichever occurs later. You may cancel this contract if accommodations or facilities are not available pursuant to a request for use as provided in this contract. 11. REFUND POLICY

30 Day "No Questions Asked" Refund Policy

CheapTrips is a membership travel organization. You have 30 days from enrollment to request a refund for all services purchased. If for any reason, you are not satisfied within 30 days of enrolling, simply return all of your membership materials along with a letter of cancellation via return-receipt certified mail, referencing your International Membership ID number, and stating the reason you wish to cancel to:

A refund will not be issued until all materials are returned. Absolutely no refund can be given after 30 days from the date of enrollment.

12. Important information about airfares

Airfares shown are for one (1) adult in U.S. dollars. Any or all of the following taxes and fees may be added and are the responsibility of the passenger at the time of purchase:

1. Federal excise tax per each U.S. domestic flight segment,
2. Local airport and passenger facility charges,
3. September 11th Security Fee,
4. U.S. Transportation Fee (Alaska and Hawaii destinations only),
5. Federal Inspection Fee (Canada destinations only).
6. Fuel surcharges

Additional governmental taxes and fees may be associated with international itineraries. If you are a purchaser of a travel package, you may later incur certain other charges, including, but not limited to, hotel extra-person charges, extra-bed charges, resort fees, gratuities, hotel energy surcharges, parking fees, telephone fees, room service, movies, mini-bar, rental car insurance, or gasoline and similar incidentals, that are not included in the package price.

Please note that the airfare quoted by CheapTrips in U.S. dollars is valid and available only at the time of inquiry and are subject to change without notice and are subject to government approval. Airfares are also subject to many airline restrictions, including, but not limited to, advance-purchase rules on selected travel dates, blackout dates and other airline-imposed restrictions and may not be available on future bookings or all flights due to inventory control.

CheapTrips is an information source and does not issue airline tickets online. Purchasers of airline tickets in reliance upon CheapTrips advertisements should confirm all additional charges and fees associated with the total cost of the airline ticket with the travel agent or airlines issuing the ticket prior to final purchase. CheapTrips does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or adequacy of any delay or other air traffic management information on the CheapTrips website and CheapTrips expressly disclaims liability for any errors and omissions. Additionally, CheapTrips is not liable for any errors or omissions on the part of travel wholesalers, retailers, and accommodators.

13. OWNERSHIP

We, along with our travel and leisure service and information providers ("Providers"), own and have copyrights on our site and all of its contents. You will not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, sell, transfer or modify any of the content, data, information or materials found on our site, but you may download, display and print one (1) copy of the materials presented on our site on a single computer for your personal, non-commercial use. Trademarks, logos and service marks displayed on our site ("Marks") are our, and our Providers, registered and common law Marks.
